About the Press

       Obol House is the home of living voices----an imprint of Huntsville Independent Press----created to give authors a trusted partner in publishing. We exist for writers who want the credibility of a professional press and the assurance that their book will be handled with care.

 

 

Our approach is rooted in partnership. Authors invest alongside us to show their commitment, and in turn we provide professional editorial work, high-quality cover and interior design, national distribution, and coordinated marketing that includes press releases, social media support, and outreach to bookstores and libraries. Authors always keep their rights and earn up to 50% royalties depending on format.

 

We welcome memoirs, fiction, children’s literature, business and self-help titles, faith-based works, cultural histories, and how-to books. We also consider previously self-published projects for professional republication. What matters most is that the book has a clear voice and real value for its readers.
