BOOKS WE WELCOME
Obol House publishes memoirs and autobiographies, literary fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and children’s books of all kinds, including young adult and middle-grade works. We also welcome regional and cultural histories, as well as business, self-help, faith-based, and how-to titles that offer clear value to readers. In addition, we are happy to consider works that have been previously self-published for professional republication under the Obol House imprint.
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT
At Obol House, every manuscript is considered with professionalism and care. We seek original works — memoir, fiction, nonfiction, children’s, faith, business, and cultural projects — that deserve a chance to shine. Previously self-published titles are welcome if rights are available. Authors may submit to other publishers at the same time; simply note this in your application. As a press, we provide substantial marketing and distribution support, and we expect our authors to market in tandem and cooperate with our efforts so that every book has the best chance to succeed.
